During the heyday of the B Western, the town of Lone Pine was alive with film shoots, stars, and all the glory that comes with the movie set. To this day, Hollywood continues to film here, utilizing the fantastic scenery of the rocks, hills, mountains, and surrounding high desert lands.

Tango Productions Inc. was pleased to be asked to create an updated website for the annual Lone Pine Film Festival.

Utilizing the Joomla content management system we were able to quickly and efficiently meet our clients request. In order to add e-commerce functionality we paired Joomla with the popular Virtuemart component.

 

Virtuemart allowed us to implement a series of discount levels to members of the Lone Pine Film Museum and special access festival button holders. We also needed a system that would quickly allow our client to make changes and add/update festival events and information. Once again, Joomla fit the bill perfectly. The new website has been a big improvement for the festival, providing festival-goers with more efficient access to event information and an easier way to purchase tickets and merchandise.
